Megan Stuart Wallace

Megan joined Disruptive in July 2008. She began her career acting in theatre and television in the USA. She received her BA in Corporate Communications and studied acting at the renowned Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC. In 2002 she co-founded the International Theatre New York with award-winning Director Robert Castle and continued to act and direct for the stage.
At International Theatre New York Megan quickly discovered her passion for producing and began devoting herself to developing new material with young playwrights and screenwriters. She completed the MA Programme for Producing at the National Film & Television School in 2008 and is currently developing a number of original feature scripts with writers and directors, including an adaptation of Richard Gywn’s acclaimed novel, The Colour of a Dog Running Away. Megan was named an Edinburgh International Film Festival Trailblazer in 2008 for her work on the short film Outcasts with Director, Ian Clark.
Megan has a passion for creating films with dynamic characters and a vibrant visual style. She is committed to filmmaking with an eye towards the imminent future of our industry and is drawn to projects and ideas that are creatively ambitious, inventive and driven by a contemporary voice.
